This is an announcement for the Blind Vet Tech Monthly Tech Talk for January 19th. With the holiday season slowly fading into the past, I hope one of your resolutions involve socializing and talking with your fellow Veterans with a visual impairment. If so, our Blind Vet Tech monthly teleconferences, along with the Hines Blind Center Alumni’s calls, are an entertaining and educational way to accomplish this goal.
Our call for January features two components. The first is a guest presentation from the VA Section 508 team about their duties and responsibilities, usability workarounds, and how we each may contribute to increasing the accessibility of VA digital interfaces. The second piece will be a discussion about how we each use the Voice Over Rotor, which you can learn more about by listening to this podcast.
The details for the call are:
- Thursday, January 19th
- 1900 Central Time
- (866) 820-9940
